KAHUNA (Hawaiian for Sorcerer or Medicine Man and local slang for "Big Shot") TUNA from The Fish Hook Series is a fish-shaped mixed media mosaic art piece with utility hook made from a spoon for keys, potholders, towels or clothing.

Hand cut tesserae created from reclaimed broken dishware; broken Raku pottery pieces, salvaged stainless steel spoon; recycled bottle rim; salvaged mirror; on custom cut 1/4" 'environmental' MDF; sanded grout.

Colors are brown, tan, sand, grey, ivory, rust red, navy blue and black with silver mirror; lava colored grout. Fish is 12" wide by 9" tall; hook descends 4". Thickness varies from approx. 1/2" - 1". Wt. is approx. 2 lbs. Sealed and finished for indoor use ONLY. Ready to hang. Includes mounting hardware. Piece has been titled, signed and dated on the back by the artist.

PLEASE NOTE: This item was carefully and thoughtfully created from recycled, reclaimed and salvaged materials which may contain "imperfections" such as small chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, etc. As with all one-of-a-kind, handmade items, these "imperfections" are considered enhancements to the piece and do not detract from it's value.
