Kauai is the land of AWEs - born in fire, it's a place where Air, Water and Earth meet in the most magical ways...and eventually it all goes back to the sea! Abstract mosaic landscape created almost entirely from trash. Materials include broken and hand cut discarded pottery, raku pieces, reclaimed Chinese teacup, vintage Japanese Nippon lustreware china, shattered iridescent punch cup, tempered glass salvaged from auto wrecking yard, reclaimed mirror bits, sea glass found on the beaches of Kauai, freshwater pearls, glass seed beads, on 1/4" "environmental" MDF with lava, grey and aqua colored grouts. Titled, signed and dated the back by the artist. Sealed for indoor used only. Approx. 5 lbs.
